I have been rather busy for the past month. It seems that the harvest and preserving season had me in the kitchen for a few days. So, my freezer is full.
There were the usual September car meets and tours to enjoy with a day or so to recover, view and post any worthwhile snap shots.
I somehow found some time to load my old PS CS to my new computer, so that I could use its photo gallery to create albums for my old old -- my goodness -- way back to 2005 --- web page, to create albums for travel, garden, etc. I am only about 5 years behind on my old page. I like it the way it is because I can edit the albums with notepad. my old page
Since I had my old PS CS back I decided to add the Optik Verve's Virtual Photographer plug ins to it. These plug ins need an older version of photoshop to be able to work. They are fantastic. I am happy to have them back on this computer, to use, again. The Virtual Studio is a stand alone editor with some features that I really like. I am waiting for them to get this running on 64 bit Windows 7.
I really don't understand why we should need to up grade constantly. Everything is flash and javascript with things popping up at you everywhere you go on the internet. Its amazing how complicated and huge the internet has become in a few short years... well a couple of decades or three.. man, has it been that long?
More of my books needed reading too. And now Megashot really does need more attention. The site is positively zippy since the migration to the new servers.
