It has been very hard not to notice the progress that our friend Rafik Kamel has made in his Macro Photography. What is even more note worthy, is the fact that he has only recently become interested in the filed and he does not even own a dedicated Macro lens yet. He uses his 70-300 VR lens along with a Macro adapter!

Not only his macro work, his entire portfolio on flickr shows his excellence and desire for perfection. It is inspiring and enlightening to peruse his truly remarkable work.

Thanks dieter this is truly flattering, especially coming from a person with your talent and stature in photography. you know what make people wonder? people find it very strange that i shoot just for my self enjoyment, and i dont intend to share in any competition, when i tell people that they think i am crazy or something like that dieter.
