I liked the black background of the earlier beta instead of this grey to view photos. Can we choose independently the color we'd like?

Ironi strikes again: the grey gradient has been just about the only thing about the gallery that has been appreciated

I'll see what I can do with the new gallery which is due in a few weeks. Being able to choose background has been a popular request.

I've seen this bug before. It's a URL rewrite problem. Easily fixed. Until I do that, I think you'll be alright if you change view to flat instead of threaded. I am guessing you have threaded view since that's where the bug appears.
