is there a place to see the files that I've uploaded? I have uploaded one file, but when I click 'content', all I see is:

I understand your problem. This is because the page you are referring to only displays images uploaded to your personal gallery.

I am guessing the photos you have uploaded have been placed in the public albums; eg Macro, Birds, Landscape, etc.

This system is going to change. All photos in public albums will be dumped to the user galleries of the owner. And linked in again by keywords.
